Hi all, my NVR has stopped recording IVS events. It is just recording 24/7.
I used to be able to log in and filter IVS events only and same on my DMSS app.
I've done a camera factory reset but no luck.
I'm sire there is some setting I've changed without realising.

Any help?

I've had that. Plus the thumbnails don't show on events. I've started a nvr restart schedule every Sunday morning. Seems help clear out the cobwebs.

Oh wow! Yeh all my schedules are set etc.
How long did it last till it started again?
Well, the first example I pointed out in that topic was the IVS events stopped showing on the NVR's timeline on January 12 and came back on January 27.
The last time it happened, the IVS events stopped showing on the NVR's timeline on March 10 and came back on March 23.

Are your camera and NVR logs the same as the ones I showed in that topic?

Mine stopped last Sunday 3 April and still not working now

So you think a full shut down will fix it?
When any gadget is whacked out the first thing to try is always a reboot. Even a full shut down, wait a couple minutes, restart. Whether that helps you won't know till you try.

Are any of you using or have enabled P2P?

With dozens of Dahua NVRs installed I can’t say I’ve seen this.

Are you sure
1- IVS events are occurring? Can you see them trigger in SmartPSS live? Test and see
2- settings on NVR - see this post #2
3- make ALL settings/changes on the camera itself. (Except record schedule functions which you do on the NVR)
4- Once changes are made, reboot. Camera first then the NVR

Other thoughts

Don’t rely on the DMSS app. View with SmartPSS or the NVR playback finction

If using an SD card, try temporarily removing it. See if the NVR records first.

Double check all settings . When you default many things need reset.

Isolate individual cameras. One at a time. Is it just one or a few? Or all cameras. If all, I’d look at NVR settings first.

Yeh i have done all of that. The IVM events are occurring as i can see them in smartpss live. They just dont show on normal playback.

The main issue is they were showing up until 4 days ago and just stopped. Ive checked every setting and can't see why they no longer show.
My DMSS app will trigger push notifications when an IVM event occurs but nothing on playback

Yeh no sd card in camera, only running the ptz on the nvr. Might do a factory reset on the nvr see if that works

You do have smart (ivs) checked off under the playback time line? If that's not checked off to be included there'll just be blank spots in the green playback where the blue ivs events should be. Incredibly obvious but...
