Pricing is confidential between integrators and distributors. I’d get dumped real quick if I started talking money. I think every distributor has ‘special’ pricing depending on volumes and promotions from Dahua UK.

And aren’t they all 5MP?
I make my living selling & installing cameras so by all means give it away if you like. Just be aware that it’s already bad enough having to justify why a camera costs what it does vs Swann or Reolink without folks with apparently non-trade ‘trade’ accounts selling off cameras at trade prices.
And if you just want them cheap the @EmpiretechAndy undercuts ALL official UK channels by quite some margin.
You are on the wrong forum. This forum is specifically designed for end users who want to avoid ripoff artists like you. If you want to charge for your labor be upfront about it. If you want to charge for labor AND make a profit on the camera, BE UPFRONT about it. We understand that they dont want to. To bad, we can get them and there is not a god damn thing you can do about it. You and your ilk have tried.Wow! If Dahua wanted to sell direct to personal customers, they would.
They don’t.
If there are no integrators then there are no distributors. Because whether you like it or not, most people can’t or don’t want to install their own CCTV.
Whether people read these forums actively is irrelevant, they’re indexed by search engines and if you search, you find.
By all means, put all the integrators out of business and then you’ll find that there is no UK support because there is no business.

I dont care if you dont appreciate it. You are a ripoff artist. When you lie to your customer and fail to disclose that you are making a profit on the camera you are engaging in deception and fraud. If you were not doing this, you would not have your panties in a bunch living in fear that your customers will learn your actual cost of goods.Hi, I don‘t know what you do for a living but I don’t appreciate being called a rip-off artist. I operate a business and I make a profit. I’m not going to apologise for that. On Thursday of last week I was asked to go and quote for a CCTV install repair because it had stopped working. I was asked to QUOTE. When I got there the homeowner had bought a Hikvision system from a handyman who bought the bits somewhere and installed them. I’m sure they gave the homeowner a great deal. But zero after-sales support.
I asked the homeowner why they had not called the handyman who fitted the cameras when two of them went wrong and he said he had, but that the handyman had told him to phone a Hikvision reseller who would process the warranty claim. He didn’t want a quote. He wanted me to process a warranty claim. Now, as it happens, what the handyman told the homeowner isn’t correct (on so many levels) and I would have told him that on the phone if he was straight with me about why he called. But I was there. And the guy’s cameras weren’t working. So I called my distributor and organised two replacement cameras from my van stock at cost (not free, because the cameras were not UK supplied, so we couldn’t process a warranty claim If we wanted to) and I fitted them for free because I was there anyway and I had the ladders off the van to check out the defective cameras. I also sorted out the phone app that had never worked and did a bit of tweaking so the colour night vision worked better. That’s called customer service, and I can only afford to do it if I make a profit.
As well as profit margin on cameras and labour, would you also like me show the cost of customer service? Of processing warranty claims? Of quoting for work I don‘t win the business on? Of buying and running vans? Of paying for equipment, workwear and tools? For having staff off for training? For paying staff when they’re on holiday? For paying National Insurance and Pension costs for staff? For the cost of actually having insurance for my customers and staff if, god forbid, anything happens while we’re on site somewhere? It’s not just labour and cameras that cost money.
Personally, I think the less-than-straightforward homeowner and handyman selling grey-import cameras and walking away from the customer afterwards are far more likely to qualify for the title Rip-off Artist than me. And when I go out of business I’m sure you’ll still think ‘good riddance’.
Great! Hope the door hits you on the way out.Again, insults. Fair enough, I’ll go and not return.
I am waiting on the release of the 8mp in a few weeks.
