If I add Dahua IPC's to a HIK NVR, will these motion detection features still work on the HIK app notifications once motion is detected? Is there a special setting?
When you mix brands like that, they should use ONVIF to communicate. ONVIF does do basic Motion Detection, but it doesn't do the better Motion Detection (which Dahua calls IVS, .. similar to Hikvision's Smart Events). Dahua IVS includes tripwires, intrusion zones, etc.
