Dahua ip intercom & gate control issue

hey all!! Just signed up, first post here!!
I have an issue with connecting the n/o contact to a gate controller.

Intercom side works as it should until i connect the contact to the gate pcb.

Then it doesnt work, really frustrating!!

Gate board is a bft ares 1500

Any ideas??

Do you have anything else connected to the same terminals that you are hooking up the intercom to on the gate controller?

Do you mean the intercom stops working or the NO contact isn't working. Do you have a multi meter?

Die you ever resolve this? Have a bft motor and as soon as I connect the intercom the contact shorts immediately. Thanks
