for the Dahua gDMSS Plus Android and Itune applications. What is the maximum resolution that can be displayed in the iPhone and android phones or Ipad when you select MAIN instead of Extra in the Playback and Live Preview? My ipcams are 3 megapixel.. can gDMSS display the full 3 MP resolution or only 1080p or something?

I set the MAIN picture resolution so the recorded images are crisp and clear.
I set the EXTRA resolution so the viewing experience over the cell network would be acceptable.
I view 4 cams on my android. If all were set to MAIN, the lag is objectionable. Each image updates slowly. As a result, imagery of the driveway, front walk, and garage are way out of sync. Someone gets out of the car, heads to front door, and much later, they appear on the front walk.
If you want smooth action when viewing activity remotely, over the cell network, then MAIN resolution is probably too high.
So it's not a gDMSS capability question - it's more a network throughput question. Bump up the EXTRA resolution until you gDMSS viewing experience becomes objectionable.
