After running 37.R Dahua firmware for about two weeks I noticed time outs when trying to playback recordings on the DMSS app. I then tested direct access to the
camera from google chrome. It turned out that the admin interface was very very slow and the Playback/Destination menu was "hanging" after clicking the menu
option button. Also it was no longer possible to retrieve a list of e.g. Human SMD alarm recording for a specific day, again waiting forever (hanging).
This smells like a Dahua memory leak firmware problem, after a manual reboot the problem disappeared. WIthin 3 weeks I will know if the
problem reoccurs.
Anyone else having issues with the 18 JAN 2022 Dahua camera firmware update?
(Btw: after installing the new firmware you have to do an extra reboot to get rid of the "Algorithm authorization expired: Please update license" error
message on the admin screen)
