Hello,

I'm a proud owner of a Dahua DH-SD49225T-HN
To power it, I'd like to use a POE injector I have laying around from Ubiquiti which delivers 48 volts (24Watt/max 0.75A ) (Model GP-H480-050G)

Do you think this is OK ? (max watt drainage from the cam is 20 Watt , so pretty close to the max of the adapter)

I hate to destroy this new cam with an incorrect power load ...

should be fine if both ends support the same PoE standards. It'd be the injector that blows (or shuts down) not the camera if the power draw becomes too much :-)

Ubiquiti also uses passive PoE, so just make sure what your injector is using. I found it hard to tell the difference when researching for the PoE switch suggestion list thread.
