Dahua Deep IVS - Newbie question

So I am trying to configure Deep IVS on my new camera but it's not working. I set up a rule yet the live view detects nothing and shows no lines. I tried both tripwire and intrusion with no luck. I must be missing something very basic but can't find answers after browsing online for a while.

Also the "alarm track" setting is fixed at 15 seconds somehow. I change the value, say to 30s, then save successfully.... but a refresh brings it back to 15s every time.

Any suggestions?

Yeah I use Chrome and triplines don't show in live view. That's normal. IVS still works though.

Try Chrome with the IE plug in.

Known issue with the 49425 and 49225 PTZ, for some reason some will not keep the tracking time unless Internet Explorer is used:

I've been using Chrome since I bought my first Dahua camera from Andy last year (the good 'ol 4231's). I was able to log in, see menu options, do the config, save, logout....all done. Always wondered how folks were able to see the AI detection boxes livestream and other stuff which I thought...

Alright, making some progress with IE. The trip lines show properly now. Yet there are no rectangles when people walk by, and the camera doesn't move at all. Any thoughts on what to fix or check next?

That is a tough angle with lots of stuff in the way - it may not work 100% of the time or much at all. Once leaves are on the trees, it will be useless...

Yeah, I imagine with leaves, you'll be SOL.

For now though, try reducing your min size to 0/0

This high angle you only see the top of people's head though.

Confirmed the camera works just fine, it was the tree branches getting in between. Thanks all for your help.
