Dahua cams - day / night image profiles automatic switch

Hi,

Following recommendations of this thread, I configured both day and night profiles of my 4431C-A cam.
Nevertheless, I'm wondering how to switch automatically from one to the other profile.
In the menu, there are 3 options: Normal, full time, schedule.
Apart schedule, it seems there's no way to switch from day to night and vice versa ... But scheduling is a bit stupid due to changing sunset/rise times !
Why we cannot rely on the sensor of the cam to directly switch ?

I agree, that this is a little bit stupid, why didn´t dahua cams are able to switch with light sensor. Using the api is not so good for independent setups.
And i also don´t understand why some functions (i.e. WDR) are not possible for day / night sheduler.

WDR can be scheduled for day/night.. at least on mine
