Dahua Camera DH-SD59230U-HNI Web Interface, No Microphone Icon on Web Interface

Does anyone have any info on how to deal with the typical none working Web INterface issues with Dahua Cameras?

Using Firefox, and have no Microphone Icon on the Web Interface.

If I install old version of Windows Explorer then I have NO ISSUES...

Any Suggestions?

Im logged in locally setting up my cameras...

I did t think that PTZ had a microphone?

But yeah Firefox isn’t great for Dahua cameras. Edge in IE mode works for me on most

It does have a mic input, you will need to use the proper browser to see the mic icon.

Actually since that is an older camera and the PTZs seem to be more browser sensitive, you should use plain ole Internet Explorer...yeah we know but it is still available.

And speaking of, since it is a PTZ, it does not have a built-in mic.


How to enable native Internet Explorer in Windows 10 and 11:

• Open Notepad:
  • Copy then paste the single line of code below into Notepad:
  • CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application").Visible=true
  • Save as OpenIE.vbs
• Make sure the the file name ends in .vbs not .txt, If it ends in .txt you must rename to .vbs
• Create a shortcut to the above file and double-click it anytime you want native Internet Explorer.
