I've just had a new CCTV installation as my old one blew up! It was s a bit if a rushed decision as I was hoping to have the old one repaired, but alas it was not to be.
Thing is I've bought this dahau and I'm not impressed if I'm honest, I'm not getting any notifications through and the hard drive is extremely noisy on the nvr. I felt the hikvsion was a better all round system.
So I'm a complete novice. Other than operating the camera.
I want rid of this new one I have. I don't even like the DMSS app. Can I get an equivalent NVR but different brand and the dahua camera's still work on it?
Do any of you know a work around in the meantime to get alerts to my phone? I was getting the., then they stopped and the message centre asks me to login to more features. But still no push notifications coming through.
