Getting the hang of it
I am trying to access my home LTS NVR while away from the house with my Apple iPhone. I currently have NVMS7000 installed on the phone and can view everything on my system when I within my home wireless network. I have seen many threads that discuss forwarding ports on your home router to make it accessible while away from home. I would think that this would make your home network more vulnerable ? I have also seen discussions regarding setting up VPN to do this. My Netgear R6400 AC1750 router supposedly supports VPN and I know that there is VPN on my iPhone 6 se already. Can someone possibly walk me through what I need to do to set this up or point me in the right direction to learn how to? Thanks, Jim
