CodeProject.AI in cloud VM?

Don’t laugh too hard, I know this may be comical to consider, but I’m genuinely curious. Would running CP.AI in a cloud VM even work? Or would the network latency between my local PC and the cloud VM be too much for it to work efficiently?

I was wondering this myself. If it was hardware accelerated the processing speed might be offset by the upload times....

Well, I gave it a try with a cloud Ubuntu VM with similar specs as to what I was using on my local VM and I don’t really see much of a difference surprisingly. I’m just using one camera with sub stream images for AI, and I don’t really see much of a lag in how long it takes to get the images to the CP server. I may run it like this for a while to see how it holds up.
I’m sure if I was using multiple cameras with main stream images where lightning fast transfers are needed it would be a different story.

since Blue Iris Subscription – Smart Sentry AI was a thing before DS/CP and it´s quite common in other solutions too.
