Cloned camera no video on recordings

Hey all;

I have a V5 setup with the last stable build. I setup a cloned camera with different trigger zones.

Everything seems to work, however there is no video in the cloned camera clips, only audio.

Any ideas?

What do you have setup on the trigger tab?

The camera triggers properly. I see the animated GIF in the alert window on the console, it's just the video doesn't work. Here's the trigger tab of the cloned cam.

Make the main camera the Clone Master by checking that box.

And make sure in the clone camera under schedule that you haven't somehow accidentally checked one of the boxes to not display the video.

If those two don't fix it, then delete the camera and re-add back. That fixes a lot of issues with BI.

I didn't realize there was a clone master check box. I clicked on that for the master. We'll see if that fixes it. Just need to wait until it gets triggered. (It's a remote location)

Well, I guess I spoke too soon. I'm seeing some alert recordings without video again on the cloned camera. The audio plays, but no video. The time counter doesn't advance either as it plays out the audio....

Are you sure you don’t have something enabled in the cam itself?

When watching the clip/audio what does BI have listed as the trigger, should be Motion, or External or ONVIF etc when you look at the clip thumbnails.

Delete the clone camera.
Reboot the bi pc.
Manually re add the clone camera.

Are you continuously recording the master camera? If not put the master in continuous record a see if that changes the behavior

I also just noticed that the alerts play fine on the iOS app. Not sure if the app is playing the substream potentially?

As far as triggers go, this cloned cam is trigger by AI, so it lists car, person etc.

If I can't sort this out, I'll try deleting and re-adding the cam. I'm not continously recording the master camera.
