Clips are fuzzy but alerts are fine using sub streams

Like I said in the title..

Viewing camera clips from remote.

If I select an alert clip its fine, If I select new or stored they are fuzzy
Alerts are the only ones that snap to HD from sub stream.

Not sure what is the deal I followed all the settings in the sub stream thread. For the cameras an selecting main and sub stream

With 11 cams I am running 4% cpu.

Direct to disk is also enabled.

Wait.. I'm recording continuous with Alerts? Maybe I need to just do continuous? will I still get motion triggers and alerts?

Recording continuous + alerts or continuous + triggers records in substream until the event, then it goes to mainstream.

if you want mainstream recorded 24/7, then just go to continuous.

That is typical as the camera goes from the substream to the mainstream on the next iframe (usually) or it has been awhile since that camera has done that routine, and you get a split second of the last time you went from sub to main. Occasionally I get a quick night image followed by the day if I do it in the day and the last time I did was at night.

If you want better looking substreams, up the bitrate or the resolution in the cameras setup.
