Bare metal install, Xeon E3-1275v5, 32gb ram, deadhead Quadro P1000 (CodeProject), 4TB WD Purple -Storage, 250gb NVME db/new/alerts, WinServer 2022 on SSD, dedicated dualport Intel nic bridged to 20 port BVE POE switch, 2 cams 4k 30fps, 2 cams 4k 15fps, H.264H, VBR for both main/sub stream, anamorphic, I-frame matches framerate and framerate in BI matches cameras, main/sub streams stats all look correct, continuous main stream record to disk/intel+vpp/gpu:any/also BVR. Stats show 4,850 kB/s 25 MP/s, CPU 19-25% GPU 19% RAM 3.29. Didn't realize updates expired in Dec so paid/updated and now I'm having issues it seems.

Live playback in console is fine (even with live preview rate @ 30fps/full screen), clip playback is jerky at 1x but is smooth at 1/2 and 2x+. Even with cameras disabled, hardware decode enabled/disabled, does not matter if clip is stored on NVME or WDPurple. CPU only goes to 30-50% on playback with live view enabled, with all cams disabled CPU 12%, GPU 20%. Clips play perfectly in VLC when exported H.264 w/without re-encoding overlays. What am I missing?

Stick with only releases that are deemed stable...everything else is beta releases and more often than not, they have bugs

Make sure you have properly excluded all of Blue Iris as noted in the Blue Iris help file from any Antivirus including Defender.
