Pretty much Google's search engine is based on popularity searches, since LYING is now popular, I can see future generations becoming more ignorant to the Truth.

AI will echo the myths and lies from the past .. which have already been created by humans ..
In School I was told Nazi Germany started WWII .. this is what the USA had to tell it's citizens during WWII when the USA allied with USSR .. the truth is, that Nazi Germany and the USSR partnered up to start the war in Europe .. had to suppress that fact to the Americans once USSR was considered on "our side" ..
Same with Germany .. started to only blame Hitler and the SS only for the War Crimes once USA needed old German troops and generals to stand up and build West Germany's new military vs Stalin ..
Western leftists already claiming NAZI = right wing .. when the truth is they are Socialists .. this is once the war started, the leftist no longer wanted to admit NAZI = national socialist .. but really "national capitalists" ...

I think stuff like this and Onlyfans is changing the dynamic of relationships faster and more dramatically than we imagine. So many "girls next door" are on Onlyfans it's shocking.
Not against it per say but I do think it's warping relationship dynamics.
I am teaching another University class. Turnitin started doing AI text identification last month. When AI writing develops in complexity this will be a much more difficult task.
From the positive-identified student work I have seen, the papers sound like a 7th grader trying to bullshit their way through a topic with sentences that sort of sound right, but really are void of thought or content.
Here is how they do AI-detection currently:

Already with some mastery of AI prompting there are numerous reports on how to get better results from the various ChatGPT versions on better written replies that the AI detection systems do not flag as AI generated.I am teaching another University class. I see these new AI tools completely changing school .. just like when the calculators came in for math / engineering classes .. and computers and software for all the remaining classes laster ..
So far, the tests I have done with ChatGPT shows it is problematic from an accuracy pov ..
I had a student with a 70% AI score. That paper was far better, and the student clearly used a much more detailed prompt to have AI do the writing. That student called me very much freaked out when I noted the 70% AI score-- and insisted they did NOT use AI.... Here is a screenshot of what their paper looks like.... The blue-highlighted text reflects a 98% certainty that AI generated the sentences...
How ironic is it that this paper is about Critical Thinking Skills?
