Changing time on Dahua NVR

This happened to me a few years ago and I forget the fix. I did something months ago to change the time ahead by 12 hours. I have changed the time a few times since but it always reverts back to the wrong time. I am missing a step but forget what. Lol.
I go Main menu, system, general date and time, manually change the time then click save and apply. When I leave the nvr, all looks good. Then later on I notice it’s messed up again. Lol.
 
I think maybe my GMT+\- was wrong. Thank you Robert. I now have it holding st the correct time. Instead of GMT -5. Hours I had to set at GMT-6 to account for daylight savings time. There is no way to do daylight savings time automatically on this thing is there?
