Hi,
I have a TPLink VR600v router, Blue iris, and I believe are TVT IPC5-DF28SN cameras.
I have static ip set for cameras and blue iris pc through ip reservation and uPnP set to blue iris pc ip address.
Everything working no problem.
I want to know in case I lose the ip reservations or change routers, is there a way to connect to the cameras and port forward to blue iris pc via mac address instead or something.
So in case it happens and I am not there to redirect blue iris to new camera addresses etc.
I can already do this with DDNS and accessing my network from the internet. Is there any features on ip camera or router that can do this?
Maybe some how I can give my cameras a local ddns address, connect via MAC instead of IP, etc...
