u.s.a.
I've tried a couple of different brands of CAT6 RJ45 that are supposed to work with 23 gauge CAT6. Neither has the proper size inside to correctly accommodate the eight wires through to successful crimping.

Is there a specific brand of CAT6 rj45 connector that is proven to properly fit and work with 23 gauge wire?

+1 on those CAT-6 connectors from monoprice that @tigerwillow1 linked. I used them on 23AWG CAT-6 also from monoprice, just from amazon. They are for solid (not stranded) and are 2 piece; they include an insert that helps hold the conductors to insert into the staggered holes. Go ==>> here <<== for tips on how to use the 2 piece for staggered holes.

I prefer the 2 piece as mentioned above at work (must do 50-100 per month). They really help hold things together as you insert. Also, you can double check the color code before inserting.
