I’m trying to figure out how to upload the video but suffice it to say that I have the video and the plate and gave them to the police.

My brain could read the plate but the computer couldn’t.

That's a bummer having just moved in! But you have a readable plate and video so hopefully the cops and insurance can get something worked out in your favour.

I use Youtube for my uploads. I just mark them as unlisted so you can only get to them if you have the direct link or see them embedded here.

The local police contacted the owner of the car which his daughter drives. I contacted him today and he is willing to pay for the damages.

The best part is that he told his daughter to personally apologize which she did today. Accountability is the cornerstone of integrity.

streamable.com is a nice and easy way to upload videos if you don't want to connect personal videos to your youtube account.

but the fine print does say they will expire after 90 days but I've had some on there for 2 years with free tier and never had a video deleted.
