I tried 3 different powered mics even had a friend that installs them for a living try. all I get is this noise
can't get audio to work on Hikvision NSC-274S-DMZ

I am using blue iris ver4 and direct to disc to record.
the camera and mic is fed 12 v from a 10 amp regulated power supply
the camera to the netgear switch is wired in with cat 6

@Mike Dunne I mean in the camera itself (currently set to 722.1)..there is a setting for the codec, try 711ulaw...can you hear audio via the web browser when logged into the camera directly?
