I'm trying to back up about a minute of footage to an external USB drive (4GB), and it just says "the backup error occurred". If that isn't a fake error just to frustrate someone, I don't know what is.
I've selected the USB drive in the backup utility, formatted it, made a folder, selected the time and date, and added the file to the list. I've also played with most of the settings, including output format, stream, etc. It won't even try to back it up. The USB drive is one I use all the time, my Linux machine reads it fine, it's formatted in FAT32. have tried with 3 known working flash drives, used both USB ports, still same BS "error"
The utility simply creates a 0 byte file, the .exe program, and nothing more
NVR has the most recent firmware. (done with the same USB drive on the same port!)
