Hi there,

Last couple of weeks I have been strugglin trying to embed the livestream of my Dahua camera directly into my website.
The browser I'm using is Chrome.

Since Chrome does not support url credentials (it used to work like this: )
I'm trying to find another solution to make this work.

Trying to open the stream in a new tab by surfing to https://[CAMERA_IP]/cgi-bin/mjpg/video.cgi?channel=0&subtype=1 does not work unless I first install the rootcert created in the settings of the camera.

Anyone has experience with this? I cannot expect that every client who wants to watch the livestream will install the rootcert to get this working...

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Best regards,
Sem

FWIW, works for me in Chrome and Firefox with HTTP, not HTTPS.
I've just tried and disabled the https checkbox & now I'm not able to connect to the camera anymore.
I'm tottaly lost now...
