Just purchased LPR camera and NVR (models below) from reputable online retailer with generally good customer service. Asked them to confirm compatibility before buying and they did.
I can configure camera license plate capture directly via browser interface, but not through local NVR or via iVMS-4200. Images of plates are saved to laptop, but not to NVR. My user interface for NVR and iVMS-4200 does not look like anything in the instructions manuals provided. For instance, when I go to Menu->Camera-> on NVR there is no "VCA" to be found. I can find "VCA" under "Basic Settings" in iVMS-4200, but the only items listed there are "Behavior Analysis" and "Face Capture." It's as if the firmware is missing some functionality. Any advice? Using latest versions of everything.
