Can you add an external mic to a 5231R-ZE?

I am thinking about buying a 'IPC-HDW5231R-ZE' to replace an older cam. I realize that the 5231R-ZE comes with a mic, but can you add an external, powered mic - like the Microseven M7WP-MIC?

I only see two cables for the cam - ethernet and power

If you're willing to completely give up the IP66 waterproof nature of the camera, and do some engineering, you COULD do it, but I'd strongly recommend against it. I researched this last year, found the microphone connector on the printed circuit board, and immediately said "Nope."

Maybe internally substitute the mic connection in lieu of DC power and use the external DC plug as mic
Input. Still stay water proof and not break any camera seals.
