i have been back and forth with starlink with no solutions. i can`t view my cameras ousite my home network. i just found out about videoloft and thought that might be the answer. any ideas? thanks

Is it because of the starlink internet dropping the connection or just wont show up on your app? Also how did you add it to your Hik-connect app

can`t view it on ivms 4200 on laptop or on my phone using hilook app or hi connect.tried connect app , tried adding it by ip domain and also hikconnect. it doesn`t drop out it just doesn`t connect . it`s offline.

what do i change it too? when in cmd prompt "
ipconfig /all
all i see under dns server is the ip address

IIRC, Starlink employs CGNAT so no public-facing IP is available, at least not with IPv4.

Being that you're wanting to access a NVR, I'm thinking you could install Tailscale or ZeroTier on a compatible GL.iNET router and access it remotely that way.
