Can DS-HD2(with a SD card) record the video ?

I have a DS-HD2 door bell, and I put a 16Gb SD card into it. Can DS-HD2 record the video when someone ring the bell？ Or it can only take the picture? Another question is if it can, how can I check the snap or video?
