Can Dahua NVR enable recording only on REST (or other) event?

I have an inside camera i'd like to only be recording when the alarm system is on "away" mode. I can detect what mode I am in using home assistant, but not seeing a way to enable/disable the record setting on that camera except via schedule or manually.

I tried finding a REST api but failed, is there anything similiar to what i'm describing with the Dahua NVRs?
