Can BI change camera profiles?

Last night I changed the cameras night profile to shutter speed 1/250 which resulted in amazingly clearer motion images. I then set the cameras profiles to change from day/night on a time schedule but obviously sunrise/sunset changes over the year. That said, is there a way BI can change the cameras profile or change the cameras shutter speed and/or other settings since BI has dynamic day/night profiles?

If they're Dahua look up the sunrise/sunset utility here on IPCT. Works like a charm.

Best to do within camera setting itself; however, depending on the camera, you "might" get it to work in BI by going to Alerts and set the profile, then at bottom - Actions on alert and then Do Command and then select shutter.

Could you please advise on what might went wrong in DahuaSunriseSunset plug-in when I've upgraded to BI 5. The issue is that one camera does switch to a B/W but the other camera switch to B/W a bit later (1 hour later). Settings on both cameras are identical but the are no synchronized to a B/W switch. Thank you!

I would uninstall the day/night switcher, make sure you have the latest version and re-install and follow all setup directions.
