At work we have a Security information and event management (SIEM) server (Wazuh) aggregating the logs from all our PCs, servers, switches, routers, etc., to try and correlate "events of interest," both for the purposes of preventing intrusions and for forensics if we ever get intruded.

Think of the "Event Viewer" in Windows, but for every device on the network, all in one place.

Camera triggers would be an "event of interest" to me, so I installed the Wazuh agent on my BI PC.

The Wazuh Server is seeing events such as when I establish and RDP connection to my BI PC, or when I quit an RDP session, but it does not see events such as a motion trigger from BI.

Can BI be configured to write events to the system log?

Bi does that. Go to the log menu and tell it to save to a log file.

I turned that on, but it creates its own log file. Is there a way to redirect that to the System Log? The Wazuh agent only forwards the System Log to the Wazuh server, and it formats in a way that the Wazuh server can parse.
