All of my cameras are stuck in IR mode. I tested one by holding a finger over the IR opening and there is no click. I have 7 Hikvision cameras and one Duhua. The Duhua is not connected to the NVR as I have it on a separate POE switch and it has switched to 'Day' ok. This was without any signs of issues or warnings. Not sure if this is coincidental, but this may have started when I installed and ran Hikvision PCNVR software from a laptop on my network. Blue Iris is the same (IR mode). I'm wondering if this is NVR related?

NVR is HIKvision - DS-7600 series
Cameras are of two models:
DS-2CD2042WD-I
DS-2CD2142FWD-I

Thanks fo any help with troubleshooting.

Misdiagnosis. IR was not stuck. Completely covered the lens and could hear the IR engage (click). Turns out my image settings had all been reset to zero (Brightness, Contrast, Saturation)...Saturation at 0 was the problem. Installing Hik's PCNVR client apparently reset these. Setting Saturation to 25 gave the color profile I was satisfied with. Decided to post this in case it may help someone else.
