Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post questions but I don't see any other places for newbie. I am wondering if there are still IP cameras for sub $50 out there that can take snapshot and email to you when it detects motion/sound (in my case I have it "email" to my phone number as MMS).
I have an old foscam FI8910W that can do that, plus allowing me to see live stream via a computer browser (I know it is not considered secured to do so). The only thing bad is that you cannot turn it on and off remotely. Look like most newer cams I know of only send you push notifications through an app and not snapshots. I think it is easier to glance at the MMS on my watch than to pull out my phone and open up an app.
