Yes I know I shouldn't be using powerline ethernet but for a few of my cameras, I have no choice. I've fought with this for months, relocating the powerline modules to make sure they're on the same phase and trying to eliminate noise and interference. Most of my cameras I run at 15 fps but the ones on powerline I had all the way down to 5 fps and were still getting lots of drop outs. Then I started playing with bitrate and found that the problem was solved by lowering the bitrate.

I think the default was about 4000 but cutting it in half on all of the powerline cameras seems to have solved the problem. I know this decreases the image quality but that's better than having total drop outs. I'm just hoping this might help someone else that's using powerline ethernet.
