Camera markup prices

Hi everyone. I'm just trying to gauge an average markup price for cameras / materials that installers are commonly charging nowadays.

Also, if anyone is able to share their hourly labor costs I would appreciate it.

Chicago IL: $70-100/hr, 8 hr minimum
Portland, OR: $40-80/hr
Portland, ME: $25-55/hr

For some other work I have seen price differences of 2x for quotes from people for the same jobs in my local area.

I suspect the range can be significant.

In general the cameras many are installing are more affordable smaller sensor models that we've seen shared here.

Not to be off topic here, but how soon can one can get a license to install IP Cameras?

Not sure there are any licenses specific to cameras. There are for low-voltage generally and more specific requirements for alarm and fire systems.
