Problem camera is an IPC-HDBW5441F-AS-E2-3.6mm Firmware v2.840.15OG004.0.R Build date 2021-10-27

Anyone have a camera you set up that doesn't trigger on IVS? The camera works but doesn't do any detection. I am hoping a factory reset and reconfig will make it work again.

I reset the camera to factory defaults, problem is I had it on a VLAN with CIDR 192.168.3.0 and it reset to 192.168.1.208 (at least I think it did) I can't ping it anymore. I was going to get a RJ45 POE injector and connect the camera and my laptop to it in order to reconfigure the camera and then plug it back in the VLAN port.

Couple of questions:
1. anyone have a better/easier way to go about reconfiguring the camera? If
2. I checked the firmware page and I don't see an update for this camera. Should I reach out to Andy?

It should default to 192.168.1.108

Yes since you are vlan, either get an injector or if you have a 12vdc wall wart from a spare router or other electronic device floating around you could use that to power it and then plug the ethernet into a laptop and set the IP of the laptop to the 192.168.1.xxx subnet

Andy keeps his most recent firmware here:

Also is this a new issue? If so did you recently update BI? Several are having issues with IVS not triggering on 5.7.5 and newer.

Hey Wittaj! It's the same issue from a while back. Just getting around to fixing it.

I have not updated anything or touched it since it was installed.

IT is actually two cameras. They are both boobiecams and they are both 5441s. Neither one triggers on IVS which is not good since I use these to let me know when someone is approaching my front door at night.

I have two unused ports on the switch. I may reconfigure these to 192.168.1.x and use one for the camera and one for my laptop to be able to communicate to the camera.
