Migrated from Sighthound to BI to trial it. A few hours to setup the basics and after a few days of operation I notice the cameras randomly disconnect. Have to restart at least one a day at random times using switch power cycle. Didn't have this issue with Sighthound in the same box. Cameras are Aote W511G-T-POE hardwired. Status reports signal loss with main stream still streaming about double the normal packets with <1 fps and substream completely dead framerate and data on the last instance. Using network configuration as populated by find/inspect. Is a BI restart needed after every config modification to be stable? Any suggestions are appreciated.

So you are saying that it reports signal loss yet the video is still streaming?

If so, this is one of the OCD type events that can drive you nuts that you have to learn to ignore. There are certain things that BI will throw "errors" that are really more like a caution "hey look at this" type indicator. iframes more than double FPS, FPS dropping low, etc. and with some cameras you do not have the ability to adjust anything to stop those "errors".

If you are losing signal, then it is because BI tends to be more sensitive to fluctuations as it would rather error on the side of caution and alerting you of an issue.

More than an OCD moment. No, the video is gone. Just stating what the "status" is reporting, that data is still flowing between the camera main and BI. Caught in a data bounce, got no idea why data was still flowing. Thought I'd mention that it might be a clue as to why. As I write this just had three cams go down all with the same status, Signal loss, main & sub stream 0fps, Main stream 1200kB/s - 1900kB/s, sub 0kB/s.

Are the cameras going thru the router or do you have them VLAN or dual NIC?

Still giving me the error "Check FPS and key rates" on every camera just as this forum post reports. Results in no signal randomly, no pattern. Requires a camera reboot to restore for a while. Unfortunately my Reolink RLC-410-5MP doesn't have an i-frame adjustment to make BI happy. It's exclusively H-264 as well. Tried monkeying with a few BI video settings but no luck. Is there a camera compatibility list for BI5? Would hate to have to replace all four cameras.

Worked with Reolink support and they sent me a pak file that allows keyframe adjustment. Set main and sub to 1x. This fixed the "Check FPS and key rates" problem. Framerates are stable now on both channels. No hardware acceleration used, four cam simple detection, 25% ram, cpu 12%. Still at an impass. Get 100+ of "no signal" in the log each day on all four cameras. A dozen times a day it retries 4x and causes a camera reboot to resolve via onvif. Any suggestions where to look? I'm stumped.
