Bricked DS-KH6350-WTE1 after firmware upgrade

Hi all,
I updated my DS-KH6350-WTE1 to firmware 2.20 true iVMS 4200 and since then it isn't booting up anymore.
I tried to restore it with the tftp tool with no luck.

the tool tftp don't not discover the ds-kh6350 how can I solve it?

and the ping to 192.0.0.64 it's ok but the the tool does not discovery anywere ....

Thaks for the reply, I've the USB To RS232 TTL with 6 wire and not 4 ... how can I use it?
I think that I've 4 color on the 6 color similar to the 4wire interface (red, White, green, black) and I will use them.

I just have putty.... (my work) And I'me ready to go.. :) How can I proceded?

I need to use external power or can I use POE?
I need to use putty or tftp? or both? and how can use them?

recap:

1. 3.3vdc (not needed) red (near the other connector) <-> red
2. Camera Tx -yellow <-> Rx adapter White
3. Camera Rx black <-> Tx adapter Green
4. Gnd green <-> black

Serial port settings:
baud rate= 115,200
stop bits=1
parity=none
flow control=none

I use only putty with connection type serial?

How put the firmware in the device?
 
Thats where tftp comes. You establish connection with serial and push command "update" to push tftp.



set ipaddr 192.0.0.64
set serverip 192.0.0.128
update (this will start TFTP transmission)
 
ah ok ! I need both putty to start connection and TFPT tu inizialize the update

I need lan and serial connection started, right?
 
yes you need both lan and serial. You can boot it with either PoE or 12V does not matter. You stop boot with ctrl+ u when you see prompt in putty
