Started to play around with the BlueIris settings. I like the idea of running it as a service. However, it is my impression it uses a bit more CPU than running it as a straight app (without the console open)? Is this expected?

I just started running BI as a service about a week ago. For me it seems to use less cpu which surprised me, I wasn't really expecting much change in cpu. I'm running an i5-4590 for what it's worth, also Windows 10.

I have to observe for a bit longer. It seems that BI steadily reduced CPU usage over the last hour.
