Hello, i have a question before of buy the software. Is valid the license for ever or
every year? how many pc can i install this purchased version? thanks for reply :)
 
I believe the "license" is forever but the support is for a year. It can be installed on one PC and, with the remote server, be monitored fully from as many other PCs as you may want. The server portion is a monitor only and program changes need to be made from the console.
 
Thanks..but can i see where is this written? I don't see the rules on the official website any description to the use of license, i want be sicure before the purchase..if i can only use it on 1 pc is not corret, because i have pay for a full version.

Precisely, you pay for one copy of the software at the current version. Upgrades are available, for free for a year. After that year there is a maintenance fee that covers both support and upgrades. This is a standard practice in the software industry, to my knowledge. One copy, software license, only allows use on one PC. Whether or not you choose to pay for the support/upgrade service is entirely your own decision.

If you only have one camera, the LE version will work fine. Given the level of technology and support that Blue Iris provides, the cost of a licensed version is quite reasonable, in my opinion anyway. It would be nice if the license terms were further explained on the website though. You can always email support with any questions you may have prior to purchasing to get the most reliable answers.
 
Upgrades are free for minor revisions for a long time, not just a year. BI will continue to upgrade after the one year of free support runs out. This changes for major revisions, such as the change from v3 to v4 of Blue Iris. V4 was considered a separate program and had to be purchased again. v3 still works but updates were frozen quite a while back.

thanks...the blueiris software to recognize the license i have activated on a pc, save the mac address or can i uninstall it normally and install it on a new pc?

"Deactivate" the Blue Iris license on the old machine, then install BI on the new machine and "Activate" your Blue Iris license.
