I upgraded to the new version 4, 64bit app. It is running outstanding and is actually (to my surprise) using less memory than version 3, 32bit. I was limited on the number of cameras I could run on the 32bit version. I had around 7 cameras running and was pegging out at around 1.8g of memory used... If I added one more camera, it would cause crashes.
Now, the 64 bit app is running 10 of my cameras, and only using 1.5g of memory. The CPU (an i7 chip) is hitting 41%, so there is a lot of overhead left.

In my case it is mostly 2-3MP with a few 1MP cameras, frame rates 4-6 FPS.
