Getting the hang of it
After a new install of BI I can't get the UI3 to work (viewing BI on PC on same network). Anybody with a solution to this problem?

Ensure you network is set as private in windows rather than public.
Jeez, this is coming up more and more...Windows Update just can't prevent itself from breaking something.

While it has happened on its own, he may have reinstalled windows with the BI install.... The other recent case installed a new router so that's expected as well as Windows defaults to publicJeez, this is coming up more and more...Windows Update just can't prevent itself from breaking something.
I've had Win 11 change it from private to public just by reinstalling the NIC drivers!
I guess any time the connection is deleted and/or restored the network properties will come up in public (treated as "new").

This makes sense... Because window sees it as a new network.
The last 6 months this has been an initial "go to" for scrutiny when a client suddenly has no Internet or no LAN server access after months of everything working fine.
That is why I create my own Windows Firewall rule allowing TCP port 81 (BI web server) for all interface types (public/private/etc). If the network changes type for any reason, it doesn't block the traffic I care about.

Network is set to Home Network, always has been. I'm getting the "404 not found" error message

The choices are private or public...
404 not found means you are reaching a web server, but the web server could not find the file you requested. It is possible you are actually reaching some other web server that is not Blue Iris, or your URL in the address bar could be bad. Without more information we have no way of knowing.

Yes, I am running Windows 7 and my BI version is 4.8.6.3. All computers are on the same network. Check screenshot for more info.+1^^.

They're all private IP's so it's OK to reveal: my BI server is 192.168.200.250:81.
