New BI install on a new server, new cameras. (New house). BI Version 5.5.3.0 (11/17/21) Updated today. Note - the issue was present before the update.

When viewing clips in the web UI, I can watch one or two clips, then the BI service will crash. The service is set to restart on failure in the service properties. Event viewer only error reads "The Blue Iris Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 1000 milliseconds: Restart the service."

Currently, there are only 9 cameras connected. I'm also using Deepstack, but I don't think that is the issue, since the clips are already recorded and processed. CPU average about 6% / Memory use average 11%

Dell Precision 7920 Rack Mount Systems specs = Dual Zeon 2.20GHZ 12 core each. 160GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro for Workstation. "New" folder runs on a 16TB Raid 0, and "Stored" runs on another 16TB Raid 0. All physical disks are Seagate Exos X16 drives. OS and BI run on 8TB SSD RAID 1.

I cannot find any other events in the event viewer that correlate to the BI service crash. I can, however, reproduce this nearly every time I view clips via the web UI or the console. I can watch live video with no issues.

I would enjoy any feedback or experience. I have used BI for many years, but have not run into this issue. I did send an email to support yesterday but have not heard back.

I had the same issue, and messing around with the web server advanced settings fixed it (Settings > Web server > Advanced) for me.

I unchecked all boxes there (Use deflate compression, Use secure sessions, etc) and it stopped crashing.
