Hi folks! I'm having a problem with Blue Iris not recording video. I changed out PC's to a gaming one as I have 12 Ammcrest Pro HD cameras connected to the system to reduce the CPU usage. All I ever get from Blue Iris is JPEG"s, no video recording. I set up the new system exactly as the old one and now no video clips. I have a time limit of 10 seconds and the clip list shows that there are clips with 10 seconds on them unless motion lasts longer. So what is up or what am I doing wrong.

Here are screen shots of my setup.

Huh? No I didn't. Was probably a notice from my post above.

What is your record setting for the other profiles? Do you have profiles set up, or are you only using profile #1 24hours a day?

Are you only wanting to record upon a trigger, and not continuous?

I do not know if this is causing your problem, but the status button, three vertical bars should not be RED. Provided a screen shot of the Status clip storage.

Note:.... weather underground is broken, Waiting for IBM to fix it. Delete the references to Weather Underground. Reduce your headaches.

Are you using WIFI cameras. If so that may be your problem.

set pre trigger buffer to 10 seconds.

The camera no signal is another issue that I am working on with Ken. I do not see a mention of WU here. I have another thread about that issue and know that when IBM gets around to fixing their login problem with FTP I have to wait. Now on this problem, All cameras are set up identical. One profile and set to record when there is motion 24/7. Now if you look at the first screen shot (Screenshot 7 png) in the clips column you will see that the cameras are recording when there is motion as all have times in seconds. So I know that the cameras are working. Now for the 3 vertical bars, I have included a screen shot of this. I see where it is telling me that there is a clip but the disk is not ready. But all it is is a status thingy for error reporting and nothing else. I think I will change the storage place back to Blue Iris and see if that clears up my problem. I have all clips trying to be stored on a USB disk drive and for some reason they re not getting there. Also I am not sing BI bvr recording. I use MPEG as then I can view the clips over my network. I haven't found a program that will let me view bvi files directly from another network computer. I changed the POST from G to BI Alerts folder. I;ll see what happens next,

'I noticed that I have 2 drive G's. How in the heck did that happen?? I need to get a new disk drive to use. That may be my problem!

Wrong screen shot. Status clip storage.
There is Wu errors on you screen shots.

You need to solve one problem at a time. If you try solving multiple problem you will end up never solving any of them.

Yes there are WU errors as I have a Windows 10 web server set up. Ignore those. I am waiting for WU to fix their problem. Just concern your self with the Blue Iris errors please.

please read and follow direction if you want help.

Status clip storage screen shot.

Blue iris status button, three vertical bars,
select the clip storage tab. Take a screen shot

You have a whole lot to learn !

Did that already. Read earlier posts!!! PS I'm 71 years old and have had two major brain surgeries, so a lot of my mental capacity is now gone!!

you can not read and can not follow directions, I look at all your shots and none are of the clip storage, the only one close is the messages.

step by step

1) In BI click the button with three bars. fourth bar over.
2) click the tab with the words "clip storage"
3) take a screen shot.

I am 70 yeas old and have been in IT for more than 50+ years.
