Hello All,

I am looking for a little help/ confirmation on an issue I am having with MQTT. I

I just updated to the latest rev 5.3.4 (I was at 5.3.3.16 and still had the issue). When a camera is triggered I get in influx of messages from Blue Iris. Not just the camera alert over and over, most are status and data messages that are just flooding my network at an extremely high rate. What is also odd is the QOS values change too in the messages. It surely seems like a bug to me. Can anyone else check this? You can subscribe to the topic BlueIris/# and see how many messages are being sent that way.

If the developer is here can you please let me know what is normal expected behavior for the MQTT service that is publishing messages.

Th developer does not come to this web site.

File an email problem report. On the blue iris about tab in the lower right .

Got it SouthernYankee. Thank you.

I will follow up after I receive a response, if anyone else is having this issue,

I'm running 5.3.0.3, no problems here. For the last 10 minutes i only see 1 status message and 1 app message. And a couple of camera triggers.

Per camera i have setup: On alert a 'ON' message and On reset a 'off' message, and this is working as it should be.

Thank you Kameraad for testing it. Something definitely had my MQTT running away. The thing with this issue is its not something most people would realize that it is happening. When I noticed it, it happened when I manually triggered a camera. I restarted BlueIris and it stopped for now. I have not looked to see if it started doing it again.

When I was ran into the issue I was able to recreate it twice. Then i called it a night and went to bed ha. If I can get it to do it again I'll reply here and email support so they are aware.
