Blue Iris Away Home Geofence Question

I just came back to Blue Iris after 2 years. I remember when I used BI last I could open the IOS app and change my profile from away to home so I could stop notifications coming to my IOS device. I know I can use AI but I haven't done that yet.
My question is now if I do that and change it from away to home I still get the notifications. What setting am I missing? I see under settings then devices my IOS device is listed. I have it set to enabled outside only. If I change it to inside and outside I get notifications walking around the house which I do not like or need while home. I just cant for the life of me remember how I use to have it set up. i must be missing something stupid.

Sounds like you have alerts set for both profiles?

So i did check that. That was the case but after I went through to change that its still happening. I actually cannot remove the push notification from both profiles. It has to be enabled on both home and away profiles. If i remove from home it removes it from away.

Here is a quick video showing my issues. You will see if I delete the notification from away it also takes it from home and vis versa. I just want a notification when I'm away. Then If I keep getting false positives I can load the Blue Iris IOS app and change the profile to home and the notifications will stop.

Did you try the three dots and then the add video?



But screenshots would probably show us.

Like for example did you uncheck the Sync with another profile box?



And then did you grey the profile you don't want triggers on:

Yeah I did try that and the forum says "opps we ran into some problems"

I did make sure sync with profile was unchecked.

I pulled screenshots from the video. Hope this makes since. But what I basically did was show how the sync with profile is unchecked and then it shows the notification section and what happens when I change it.
