It looks like you have paths set for multiply versions of cuDDN. Delete the below path, after deleting the paths reboot the PC so the paths are updated.

Hi, ALPR worked great for a long time for me. But after some upgrades (I'm not sure which), it suddenly stopped working.

Now I'm on Blue Iris 5.8.9.5 and CP.AI 2.6.2. ALPR version 3.1.0

Here's how my LPR camera is configured:

1712957155219.png

Here's an example of a DAT file that failed to detect a license plate. As you can see, despite the fact that I specified 20 post-trigger images, only one image shows up. All of the DAT files for this camera are like this.

1712957376166.png

I'm at my wit's end. Does anyone know what's wrong?

@bluetentacle Your cam AI config in first screenshot looks ok.

My guess is that CP.AI is not working. Use CP.AI Explorer UI to manually test LPR with an uploaded image as a sanity check.

Please also share the BI5 AI screen---I assume you have "ALPR for plates" enabled.

I am on BI v5.8.9.4 with CP.AI v2.6.2 and ALPR is working on my side.

"ALPR for plates" was indeed not checked. (Why would that be? I didn't touch the configuration.) After checking it, plate recognition started working again.

Thank you!

Is there another way to trigger the ALPR cam if a plate is found? I'm using the same cameras for person detection etc.
I think you need to clone that camera. The bandwidth will not be doubled, there will still be one stream, but analyzed twice (once for each camera).

Need help! License plate reading was working perfectly and then I updated something and now its broke again.
When I use the explorer and put a plate in it says no predictions found. The plate text no longer shows in my alerts on the left of the car snapshots.

I am seeing this error in the logs:

Anyone know how to stop the AI analysis if a plate is found and listed? I've tried *:80 but doesn't work for ALPR. Any other method?

Trying to get CodeProject.AI running on Windows Server 2012 R2. All modules that use cv2 are failing to start with the following error:

This happens for modules using both python37 and python39.
I tried installing the VC++ 2022 runtime, but no luck. I would appreciate any ideas. I've been banging my head on the wall for a while now.

This happens for modules using both python37 and python39.
I tried installing the VC++ 2022 runtime, but no luck. I would appreciate any ideas. I've been banging my head on the wall for a while now.

Now I'm getting Yolov8 crashes randomly when reading plates. I see there's a 1.4.3 update, but she doesn't download.

I've been getting this on and off for quite a few days now.
Updating to 1.4.3 now, hopefully this will get resolved here as well.
