hey guys

i have DS-7608NI-I2 / 8P NVR with 8 DS-2CD2355FWD-I IP cameras

anyway I've noticed that if i reboot the NVR, camera 1 always changes the Main Stream (Event) max bit rate to 2048 from my own setting of 10,000 and frame rate from 25fps to Full Frame.
I've tried saving the settings multiple times, however after each reboot it seems to change.
All other cameras and their settings remain the same and correct. its only camera 1 that changes for some reason
Any ideas of how to fix this?

Hi redavenger,
Does it do the same when you reboot the camera itself rather than the NVR? asI did have a similar problem when the 5mp turrets were new to market. 2 or 3 wouldnt hold the settings and it turned out to be the first batches had a problem with the sd card/reset button cover holding down the reset button itself.
Once I'd taken off the cover, re-fitted the o-ring and carefully fitted the cover back they've been fine.
Probably not that but worth checking as its an easy fix

yeah after rebooting just the camera the settings all stay the same.
only seems to happen if the NVR is rebooted, and the only setting that changes is the "EVENT" recording bit rate, the CONTINUOUS rate is all ok. its a bit of a weird issue.

I would check the camera(s) setting to be sure the correct mode PAL / NTSC is selected. One of my 4 cameras defaults to PAL when re-set to default which then limited the Frame rate to 25
