Big mistake....? Polaroid IP810W

Hello,
I think I made a big mistake and purchased the Polaroid IP810W dome camera. Picture is fine, PTZ works and I should be happy but.... it only works with their INSTAVIEW software. I figured that I can log into the web server using the undocumented port 81 but that's it. I have no clue how to tie this camera into my existing setup.

Has anyone experience with this camera? Have you used it in Blue Iris and/or zoneminder? Have you tied it into existing apps on your iPhone?

Hi

It looks almost exactly like a Wanscam PTZ my dad once had (it died in record time). The Wanscam was actually able to stream 720p video but it was sent via malformed http (no headers) so VLC media player and such would not play it. However Blue Iris has a wanscam option that works around this so I recommend you try any wanscam options in Blue Iris and see if they work with your Polaroid.

Specifically the one for IP810RW at the bottom, though it is probably just 640x480 mjpeg.

thats odd I thought Polaroid was dead.. must of sold the name off and now its 60 years of reputation is being whored out to sling cheap Chinese shit... oah wait; iirc thats exactly why the Polaroid is dead.
