Is BI website down for everyone?

I can't access my cameras remotely on 4.8.5.3 suddenly from my iphone. You can get to them via a webpage, but not the app.

Tried to update the software, can't bet to the site either.

You dont need the blue iris website to be up to use the app, unless you are using the blue iris quasi ddns service that users the software key instead of an ip address.

By "webpage" do you mean using a browser to access BI's webserver while on your LAN (at home) or remotely (away from home)?

The actual blue iris software.com was down

I tried from home, then vPn into office, but it’s up now

I have the software key AND the IP address in the app. It wouldn’t connect while the site was down. I thought it would revert to IP, but it didn’t.

No need for both. Use a ddns service.

I didn’t know that it would not roll over to the IP if the key failed or I wouldn’t have.
